About Us

Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh State University, Aligarh, Kasganj was established by Late Shrimati Sharda Johri in 1973.  Famous Hindi Poet Late Sri Bal Krishna Rao inaugurated the Degree College. She founded this College with the aim to educate the girls of the city and nearby rural areas to discover and hone their potentials, capabilities, interests and skills. The College provides the platform to the students to equip them to meet the challenges of future life and contribute their best for their own growth and development of the society and nation as well. Famous Hindi Poet Late Sri Bal Krishna Rao inaugurated the Degree College.

This college is located in the heart of Kasganj (U.P). Our Logo indicates “Lok Managlik Shikhar se Behne wali Gyaan Ganga representing the spirit of our College. The college is affiliated to Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh State University, Aligarh. The college is offering quality education in different subjects as Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Education, Physical Education, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, Home Science and Music (Vocal, Tabla & Sitar) at Under graduation level along with masters (Post Graduation) in Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Education, Sociology and Music (Tabla & Sitar).

To develop feeling of nationalism, social service and discipline the college is also running N,C.C., N.S.S and Rovers -Rangers activities. Our college is equipped with the facilities of Library, play-ground, canteen and an auditorium. The faculty members of our college are highly qualified, dedicated and committed for the all round development of the students studying in the college.
